This time of year is always the busiest for us, meaning we don’t often do any events (too busy being little Christmas elves at the warehouse) However this year we have such a great team, and things are under control, I decided to venture out and attend a Christmas Shopping event at the gorgeous Pheasant Hotel in Harome. Okay, okay, anyone reading this who knows me, will get why I said yes to this one. The hotel is co-owned by my other half, and is next door to our house! So this means no long drive to get there… I can have some extra stock ready to nip over if needed, and as he’s the chef there too, i’ll hopefully get a tasty lunch (hint hint).
So here’s the info: on Friday the 1st December (that’s tomorrow) The Pheasant will open their doors to a handful of local artists and craftspeople to set up shop within the hotel. Entry is £5 with all proceeds going to the local branch of NSPCC – and you will get tea and biscuits to boot!
We’ll be there between 11am and 4pm, alongside some amazing stalls, so if you fancy a festive trip out then come along and support a great event. We may be cloaked in snow today (very relieved to say I went over to work yesterday and got all my stock just in case the weather forecast was true!) but the outlook for tomorrow is much better. And if your house is as cold as mine…. why not just come along to get cosy by the woodburning stove in the bar and have some delicious food and drink!
